Spiti Barbara is a 220 year old traditional cave house situated in Firostefani, about a 10 minute walk from the main town, Fira. The house is designed for 6 people. There are 2 wonderful terraces and a jacuzzi on top of one terrace with the unique and stunning view over the island Santorini. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a living room, a well-equipped kitchen and a courtyard.
In the so-called main house is a big bedroom with a double bed plus a single bed. Furthermore, there is a sleeping loft with a double bed.This is accessed via a ladder. In the main house is one bathroom with shower and WC. The second bathroom shower/laundry and toilet is across the courtyard -typical of the architecture of the time. The living room and the kitchen are as well in the main house. The house is built around the courtyard. The third bedroom is independent, has an ensuite bathroom and view to the caldera and is accessible via the courtyard too. The courtyard with its well established olive tree provides a cool and private place to sit. The house has been sympathetically renovated to provide a modern standard of comfort whilst retaining as much as possible, the traditional and typical architecture of a cave house. It is a private holiday home, let out only for a few months.
The house is located just just above Dana Villas. In our village, Firostefani, tavernas, coffee shops, bars and small supermarkets are very close, and the main town of Fira is only a 10 minute walk, along a scenic pathway.
Spiti Barbara is perfect for 2-3 couples or a small group of friends, up to 6 guests.

Please note that Spiti Barbara is located on a footpath and down stairs, the road being some 50 metres away. You must be able to carry your luggage this distance.
